NY in general

The day 20 we must be waked up at half past five and later we leaved of Milford High School at half past six , more or less, because Raquel went to the bus ONE HOUR LATE.

When we arrived in NY, we sea a little part of the city in bus with a guide : Jorge, a uruguayan person that hated that the people were confusing him with an argentinian.

This day we hadn´t lunch, cos´we hadn´t got time. We go to the hotel directly and to the Mary Poppins´musical in the theatre. It was so beautiful, and Mary Poppins flew in the theather!

At the night we had 2 hours or more of free time for do purchases. I can talk hours and day and months about the shops in NY, for example the Hard Rock (only one word: IMPRESSIVE).

At twelve we back to the hotel and sleep because the next day be get up at seven o´clock or before for go to see the Libert´s Statue and the MoMA.

I was a little upset this day because we didn´t can up to the Liberty´s Statue´s head…

When we were returning to Milford we found heavy traffic on the way, and we had 6 hours of travel, but I hope can back to NY sometime in my life…

M&M´s

In Times Squere there is probably the biggest shop of M&M´s in the world, I LOVE THIS SHOP!!!

3 FLOORS LIKE A CORTE INGLES´S FLOOR ONLY WITH M&M´s, I didn´t know that there were so many tipes of M&M´s and colours.

But the best of this shop is the giant M&M dress like Elvis (with a white suit, a glod ring…) that has around a floor of height.

I WANT BACK TO THE M&M´s SHOP!!!

Red Sox!

Before of arrived to the U.S.A. I don´t understoodthe baseball, but only one week after I love this sport!!!

I were trying to learn the baseball´s rules, but y can´t cos´this sport have a lot of “special” rules and was difficult for me understood some plays, but with the help of Lenny and Phil (Blanquer and my fahter respectively), finally I learned the sport´s rules.

I don´t know if be a Yankees´fan or a Red Sox´s fan , because Lenny is a Red Sox´s fan I he loves me, but Phil is a Yankees´fan and if I´m a Red Sox´s fan Phil are going to put my bed in the garage with the dog (Cookie) jeje (or this is that Phil say me).

This year Red Sox probably are going to win the World Series (The most important event in baseball). They must win 4 matchs of seven, for be champions, but I think that they are going to win the matchs cos´they have a very good team, with my favourite player (Manny Ramirez).

Sponge Bob Square Pants

In this country, the people have a very serious problem with Sponge Bob, he is most famous than Green Day for example. Here the people have Sponge Bob´s trousers, movies, shows, forks… it´s sinister…

For example I did a friends precisely because I love Sponge Bob and the people in U.S.A. too. I spent hours and hours watching Sponge Bob with Jorge bravo in his house or in my house.

MoMA (NY)

MoMA means : “museo de arte moderno” in spanish.

The day  we went to NY and we saw this museum. The museum had pictures of Picasso and other importants painters.

We were trying to do a part of one Picasso´s pictures, for understand the art, and feel like a painter. Later we had around a half of hour for see the museum without teachers.

One of the pictures called me attention: the Dance of Matisse, cos´I saw the same picture in the Ermitage (probably the most important Russian´s museum), and the guide said me that the MoMA´s picture was autentic… I don´t know.

It´s was a so big museum and I´m so happy because all the pictures were beautiful, but some a little strange… :S

Halloween (the party)

The day 20 of October we had the “pre-Halloween party” in the portuguese’s club.

I was thinking in brought a Pope’s custome, but in the last moment Bravo and me saw a motoriders, and we wore the motorider custome althought we bought a Pope’s cup 3 days ago… :S Yes, I’m the worst.

A very big part of the people wore customes, it was nice.

We had around 3 hours of party, and more or less one of these hours we did pumpkins, now I hate pumpkins… We spent 1 hour and a half to do my pumpkin and later I didn’t won jeje.

We had fun in the party, but the next day I was very tired cos’ y must wake up at al past five for go to Nwe York…

CELTIC’S MATCH!!!

Two days ago we went to the Celtic’s Arena, is the biggest stadium that I can see in my life.

But I’m upset, cos’ here the people don’t animate like in Spain, here the people are “boring” for example a Grupo Capitol’s match is more exiciting than a Celtics’ game cos’ the people animate more.

This day was very special for me because all the spanish´s students appeared in the giant screen of the Celtic´s Arena, it was so exciting, like you can see in this photo.

But for me it´s the same , I think that this match was one of the best of my life

Oh! I forgot it : CELTICS WIN!!!

Chicken

More or less one week after we arrived in the United States of America, I have a conclusion:

Point 1: All in this country that taste like chicken, aren’t chicken.

And point 2: All in this country that don’t taste like chicken, are chicken.
